Jason Alexander, Chief of Staff to City Manager Spencer Cronk, Meets with Lifeguards

Today, April 4, 2022, lifeguards Scott Cobb and District Supervisor Savannah Parks met for an hour with Jason Alexander, who is Chief of Staff to Austin City Manager Spencer Cronk to discuss a proposal to end the lifeguard shortage by raising the living wage to $22 and enhancing benefits to hire and retain enough lifeguards to fully open all City of Austin pools in summer 2022.
